Transforming how students learn and teachers teach in the digital age.

I started my career in education as a teaching assistant, progressing quickly through classroom and leadership roles across both primary and secondary schools while raising three children. Experiencing education from the ground up taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of meeting every learner where they are. It also helped me understand each role within a school more deeply - to empathise with colleagues, see challenges from different perspectives, and recognise how every contribution shapes a child’s experience. That journey gave me a grounded understanding of what makes schools thrive and strengthened my belief in inclusive, relational practice built on trust and high expectations.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen how transformative high-quality teaching and strong relationships can be but also how damaging it is when students don’t receive the support or challenge they deserve. Those experiences inspired my passion for making Computer Science accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every learner.

As a sibling of someone with SEND, I’ve seen firsthand the barriers families face when the system doesn’t work as it should. Alongside my school-based SENCO experience and Master’s degree in SEN and Inclusive Education, this has given me deep insight into how policy and practice connect, and sometimes conflict, in real life. That perspective drives my advocacy work, helping parents navigate complex processes with confidence and ensuring that every child’s needs are properly understood and met.

As I moved into leadership, mentoring others became a natural part of my role. I found real purpose in supporting teachers to grow in confidence, strengthen their practice, and lead change in their own classrooms. That experience deepened my commitment to inclusion and improvement - and showed me the impact of helping others develop their potential. I’ve always been a problem-solver and I enjoy finding practical, sustainable solutions that make a real difference. Working independently allows me to use that experience to make a wider impact: empowering students, families, and educators to create change that lasts.
